New Brand Identity Unveiled by IFRRO at General Assembly of 2026 in Bogotá
International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organizations (IFRRO) has launched a new logo and brand identity for its organization at General Assembly 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia, thus taking one step further toward enhancing its international presence and reflecting the diversity of its international membership.
On October 27, 2026, the launch took place, and the new brand identity is meant to convey the message of the importance of IFRRO as an organization that links the reproduction rights organizations internationally and promotes the distribution of creative works in a trustworthy manner.
New Identity Links Connectivity with Print Traditions
The new logo combines the concept of global connectivity with the traditions of print. The key element of the logo is the globe which stands for the networking that IFRRO plays as a link between collective management societies from various countries.
Connected dots used in the logo refer to the global community of people who share the same mission. Halftone dots remind about the connection to print which is interpreted in the modernist way.
With the help of this combination of graphic elements, the new identity links the tradition of working with textual and visual pieces to the global character of the organization.
Brand Roll-Out to Take Place in Multiple Platforms
The brand roll-out by IFRRO will take place through the key communication platforms of the organization in the last quarter of 2026.
The roll-out process includes a rebranding of the website of the organization, rebranding on LinkedIn and YouTube accounts, and even on the newsletters, updates and member alerts of the organization. Rebranding will also take place for the digital and print stationery of the organization.
The rebranding process is meant to create a uniform image for the organization in all communications.
Role of IFRRO in Copyright and Reproduction Rights
IFRRO is a non-governmental organization that helps manage reproduction rights and other rights related to the written and visual works through coordination among the Reproduction Rights Organisations (RROs) who are members of IFRRO.
IFRRO has 161 members from about 90 countries around the world. The members include millions of authors, visual artists and publishers in books, periodicals, printed music and many more.
The new identity comes at a time when the organization still continues to be a diverse and international network dealing with the management of rights that pertain to creative works.
Through blending print heritage references with the current design, IFRRO’s rebranding effort has built the visual identity of the organization with respect to its mission and its international network of rights organizations.
